NITE WHITE TEETH WHITENING | Nite White Whitening Gel with Carbamide Peroxide by Smilox.com (1)Safe. Fast. Effective. Nite White® safely bleaches your teeth to lighten discoloration caused by coffee, wine, food, tobacco, aging and other lifestyle factors.

What does the Nite White® Teeth Whitening System do? It uses a bleaching process that removes stains and discolorations from the enamel of the teeth.

The Mint, Cherry or Melon flavored gel is worn over night, during sleep for optimal performance and ease of use.

NiteWhite® uses a mild solution retained in a custom made dental appliance that is worn over your teeth while you sleep or during the day. In only 7 - 10 nights, you can achieve significant whitening results. More concentrated versions of the bleach (22%) may be worn for 1 hour as an alternative to using the gel overnight.

Nite White® is a fast, safe and effective tooth whitening system. The whitening gel is a thick, viscous solution, which is applied at home using custom fitted trays. Nothing brightens up your appearance like a white smile. Over the counter toothpastes at the local drugstore just don't cut the mustard when it comes to achieving the whitest smile possible.

The active ingredient in Nite White®, carbamide peroxide, has been recognized for years by the FDA as a safe and effective oral antiseptic. Its superior tooth whitening properties are evident in Nite White® Whitening Gel. Nite White® is available in three concentrations of carbamide peroxide, so it can bleach even the most stubborn stains.

What is tooth whitening?
Tooth whitening is a bleaching process that lightens discoloration and removes stains from the enamel and dentin of the teeth. NiteWhite, DayWhite, and Zoom! Take-Home use a mild solution retained in a custom filled appliance that is worn over your teeth while you sleep or during the day.

Why can only a dentist get my teeth their whitest?
You can only get Nite White ACP Excel 3 , Day White ACP Excel 3 and Zoom At Home Whitening from a dental professional. Prior to beginning treatment, your dentist will examine you to determine whether you have any untreated cavities, tooth decay, or unhealthy teeth. Then, a custom-fitted tray is made by taking an impression of your teeth, which gives you a personalized tray and allows you to achieve optimum results.

What causes tooth discoloration?
There are many causes. The most common include aging, consumption of staining substances (coffee, teas, colas, tobacco), trauma, tetracycline (antibiotic) staining, excessive fluoride, and nerve degeneration.

Who may benefit from tooth whitening?
Almost anyone. However there are some cases where the treatment may not be effective. A dentist will determine a viable candidate for the process through a thorough oral examination and diagnosis. Tooth-lightening is ideal for patients who have healthy, unrestored teeth and would like to have a whiter, brighter smile.

Can I bleach while I'm pregnant or lactating?
To date, there has been no testing done on the effects of using a professional tooth-whitening system while pregnant or lactating. Therefore, we do not recommend that you use Nite White Excel , Day White Excel or Zoom Tooth Whitening System, if you are pregnant or lactating.

Why aren't my teeth whitening evenly?
Sometimes the biting edges and the sides of the teeth whiten more quickly than the rest of the teeth. This occurs because your enamel is thinner in these areas and responds faster to the whitening process. As you continue to use Nite White , Day White or Zoom Whitening, the rest of your teeth will catch up and the color will even out.

Is the process safe?
Yes! research and clinical studies indicate that whitening teeth with carbamide peroxide and/or hydrogen peroxide under the supervision of a dentist is safe for teeth and gums. In fact, many dentists consider this whitening process the safest cosmetic procedure available today.

What happened to Nite White® Excel-2 ?
Nite White Excel-2 has been discontinued and replaced by Nite White Excel-3. We do not currently offer Excel-2, as it has been discontinued since August 2002, and any remaining available quantity is likely nearing its expiration date. Older gels may lose efficacy and/or may have altered dispensing properties.

What is the difference between Nite White® Excel-2 & Nite White® Excel-3?
The gel formula is the same, however the size of each syringe has changed from 4.0g (Excel-2) to 2.6g (Excel-3). Two (2) syringes of Excel-2 (8.0g) is roughly equal to three (3) syringes of Excel-3 (7.8g).

What happened to Nite White® Excel-3 ?
Nite White Excel 3 has been renamed to Nite White Excel ACP or more simply Nite White ACP. The new name reflects the addition of Amorphous Calcium Phosphate (ACP) to the formula.

What is Nite White ACP ?
Nite White ACP combines Amorphous Calcium Phosphate with the proven effectiveness of Potassium Nitrate. ACP technology eases sensitivity, maintains luster, and helps prevent cavities.

What is Amorphous Calcium Phosphate (ACP)?
Patented Calcium Phosphate technology naturally bonds with the tooth surface to increase overall enamel smoothness and gloss, and reduce whitening fade-back. Its rapid absorption into the teeth also functions to reduce transient sensitivity - quite different from typical bleaching solutions.

What is the difference between ZCP and ACP?
ZCP and ACP are synonymous for the addition of Amorphous Calcium Phosphate (ACP) to the Nite White formula. They are the same product named differently.

What is the difference between the Z and ACP formulas?
The Z formula has been replaced by the ACP formula. The Z formula contained Potassium Nitrate as a sensitivity reducer, however, it did not contain Amorphous Calcium Phosphate (ACP). The ACP formula, however, contains both ingredients for more effectively controlling sensitivity problems that may arise during the bleaching process.

What is the difference between Nite White® Excel & Nite White® Excel Turbo?
Excel Turbo is hydrogen peroxide based and much more potent than regular Nite White Excel (carbamide peroxide based). It contains the same gel technology used in the ZOOM system! It can produce the same whitening results in 3 days that regular Excel can achieve in 7-10 days - making it roughly 50-80% stronger than regular Excel. Stronger gels typically create more sensitivity, therefore this gel is recommended to only those who have used Nite White 16% or 22%.
