Sugar Grove, Ohio Tamara "Tammy" Thomas 1958 — 2024 Tamara Jayne "Tammy" Thomas, 65, of Sugar Grove, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024, at Luxe Care Center, in Lancaster. She was born September 1, 1958, in Columbus, the daughter of Leo Glenn and Ilah Irene (Jewell) Burritt. Tammy was a graduate of Vinton County High School in 1976 and former President of the Berne Township Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was a nanny for 40 years and dearly loved children. She was a very special person who was a mother to all and loved and cared for everyone. She also loved to go for rides in the country, to see the deer, horses, and wildlife.
