D1 and V1 share a blood relation and live together as a family unit. On 06/24/2024, D1 and V1 got into a verbal argument when D1 pushed V1 before leaving the scene and deputies arrived.

D1 returned to the home later that night and was taken into custody and transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail.

V1 and S1 reside together as a family unit and have been in a relationship for approximately three years. On this day, the pair entered a verbal argument, stemming from a mutual friend and owed money.

V1 states S1 got into a verbal and physical altercation with the unknown mutual friend, when V1 tried to intervene. At that point, S1 shoved V1 to the ground, resulting in a laceration to her forehead.

V1 states both S1 and their mutual friend fled the residence, separately. V1 completed a written statement advising she did wish to pursue charges. Deputies were unable to locate S1 at this time.

R1 contacted the VSO in reference to a shoplifting at the above location.

R1, the store manager, observed two males, believed to be juveniles, enter the store. Moments later, the juveniles were observed exiting the store with a case of White Claw alcoholic beverages, passing all points of sale, failing to pay.

While leaving, the unknown males got on their bikes, when V2, the store clerk, confronted the males. One male swung his elbow and struck V2 in the chest. R1 completed a written statement, advising he wants to pursue charges on behalf of Family Dollar for $21.46.

V2 completed a written statement, advising she wants to pursue charges for battery.

V1 and S1 have resided together in the past while in a yearlong intimate relationship. V1 contacted the VSO in reference to receiving several unwanted and harassing messages, sent to her by S1, via social media.

It should be noted that: S1 is currently on probation, with stipulations of having no contact with V1, has an active warrant out of Volusia County, and has been arrested for the same incident in the past year.

V1 completed a sworn written statement, advising that she wished to pursue charges.

District 3N deputies assisted Holly Hill PD with a road-rage shooting call where the victim vehicle was shot approximately 15 times, with one round hitting a passerby vehicle on Nova Road.

The victim chased the suspect vehicle to LPGA/Derbyshire Rd, crashed into an un-involved victim, and the suspect got away. Deputies assisted in the security/investigation of three crime scenes and also assisted HHPD patrol with mutual aid on calls for service during the investigation.

District 3N chain of command was notified, as well as the watch commander.

T/L- 06/22 @ 2116 hours. Somewhere near the residence, unknown suspect(s) fired a BB gun which hit the home and damaged the front window. Further investigation revealed that two BBs struck the window, causing approximately $800 in damage.

V1 and her husband have lived there for 13 years and have had no problems with anyone.

No one was injured because of the incident and the homeowners believe it was probably kids just messing around. On-call CID responded to aid in the investigation.
